always a good experience
alcalay is always a go-to for me, ive gotten a few pieces from them over the years and it's consistently good quality. this time it was the rachel comey locket necklace, it's so pretty and came just as expected, though i wish they'd offer alterations in-house. still love them though!
Good quality, delivery took a while
I ordered the 'wide leg trousers' in black. The sizing chart was pretty accurate, which I appreciated, making the online purchase less risky. The fabric felt substantial and well-made upon arrival, definitely aligned with a luxury brand. The stitching was neat, and the tailoring was indeed impeccable, just as advertised. They fit well, though the length was a little long for me, so I'll need to get them hemmed. Delivery took about 8 days to reach California, which was a bit longer than I'd hoped, but it wasn't an urgent purchase. Packaging was simple but secure. I haven't needed customer support, so I can't speak to that. Overall, a solid product, but plan for a slightly extended delivery time.

So I bought this floral print midi skirt, and it's super cute. I was a bit worried about buying clothes online, you know, if it would actually look good in person. But it totally did! The fabric is really nice, not cheap-feeling at all. It came pretty quick too, like in less than a week, which was cool. I wore it out last weekend and got a bunch of compliments. Felt good, felt stylish. I might check out some of their other stuff when I have some extra cash.
